Each week, FBCK features a different missionary to learn about and pray for. This week's featured missionary family is Trent and Nora McKeehan of Socorro, New Mexico.

Originally from Maryville, Tennessee (near Knoxville), Trent and Nora McKeehan moved to Socorro, New Mexico in June 2012 to plant a church there. Socorro, a city of about 9,000 people, is located in west-central New Mexico, about half-way between Albuquerque and Las Cruces.

The McKeehans launched Ridgeview Baptist in October 2012, with 67 in attendance. In the last two years, they have had average attendance in the 30’s and 40’s, with frequent visitors and a number of souls saved. The mission work currently meets in a converted storefront property, although it is looking to eventually move into a more permanent structure. In addition to services in Socorro, Trent holds worship services two days a week on the nearby Navajo reservation. Trent also started a Bible Institute, meeting on Tuesday nights, to train those that are serious about serving the Lord.
