Cork Albright was saved and baptized in Emmanuel Baptist Church, an English-speaking church ministering to U.S. military families in Soest, the Netherlands. After leaving the Air Force and attending Bible College, he returned to the Netherlands in 1976 to pastor Emmanuel. While there, he became convinced of God’s calling to reach the Dutch for Christ. In May 1979, he became a missionary to the Dutch people of the Netherlands.

Under his ministry, Dutch-speaking churches were planted in the cities of Roermond (organized 1983), Weert (organized 1989), and Valkenberg (organized 1997). All three churches are now led by native Dutch pastors, and are still going strong. These churches, as well as numerous churches state-side, are presently helping Cork and his wife Ruth establish another church, this one in the city of Opglabbeek, Belgium.
